A New Generation of Flock Rock: Geese

Natives to the Brooklyn Scene, Geese, like many big-name bands, formed in the underground scene of, well, Mom’s basement. Highschool friends, who instead of playing Mario cart decided to play music. Lead singer Cameron Winter when interviewed had these words to say on the Matter “We would hang out playing Mario cart, and we all liked music, and we knew we should start playing in a band when we played more music than Mario cart”. Their fast paced, almost British buzz band sound, is reminiscent of playing the Nintendo game; tons of twist, turns, and unique musical colorings. Their single “Low Era” catches the ear by surprise right off the bat, having an almost ethereal feeling, while the lyrics bring seem to answer deep philosophical questions about life and death, love, and everything in between with a humorous self-evident tone. Geese members Dominic DiGesu, Cameron Winter, Max Bassin, Gus Green, and Foster Hudson are currently touring the U.S. with the Rock Band Spoon. Geese’s album Projector is out now on Streaming services.
