Railroad Earth: Jam Veterans

New Jersey natives, Railroad Earth, bring a fresh breath of Jam Grass to Brooklyn Bowling in Philly. Following the Bands release of their new single “Come and Go Moon” Railroad Earth continues strong on their spring Tour of the east coast. Led by their front man Todd Sheaffer, the band opened up with an instrumental jam leading into their song “Monkey”. An expert display of dueling instruments occurred when Mandolin Master John Skehan and Veteran Violinist Tim Carbone Duked it out on stage, as on lookers watched in amazement of the talent and skill of the two string dusters. Later on, as the show progressed it became evident that this band meant business. going from song to improvised jam connecting the two with a call and response is seamless fasion, Railroad earth left the crowd with a smile and a feeling of inspiration well worth the ticket price. One woman even broke down in tears as she stated that she “felt like the music healed my soul” following the recent passing of her mother. Luckily this won’t be the only time will be in the tristate area, being from Stillwater NJ, they will continue touring this summer coming back to NJ on May 26th in Jersey City at the White Eagle Hall.
